A Different Kind of Water Park

This afternoon we headed to the north Georgia mountains and spent time at Amicalola Falls. Will called it a "water park." It was, but not exactly in the way he meant and we were thankful he didn't give into his urge to jump into the pond at the bottom of the falls.

Below we are at the top of the falls.

You know he wanted to though ...........

This shows Will doing practicing his new sneak routine. He loves to hide.

Here he is roaring like a lion. To bad he didn't have an audience.

2nd Birthday Part 2

The gift opening continued. Will got his own new box of crayons.

A fun new baseball and bat, he just wants to know where the helmet is.

Jack enjoyed watching the festivities.

Will likes his new pants, thanks grandma and grandad.

2nd Birthday Part 1

We greeted Will outside his doorway to unveil his first birthday surprise, a new bookshelf and book.

It's already full, but quite an improvement from the old scene of books everywhere.

After lunch he opened his next gift, some great new hungry caterpillar "silly sheets." Thanks Nana and Poppy.

He ran around sporting the sheets and his new cowboy hat (mommy's old hat from a Nashville trip).

Will's admiring fans enjoyed the show.

Imagination

To celebrate Will's 2nd birthday we went to the Atlanta's Imagine It Children's Museum. Here he is learning about a crane that moves balls with rope levers and a wheel.

This is the water pond where Will fished for things in the water. His favorite part was that he got to wear a rain coat.

Here he is sitting on quite a big cow.

Lastly, he is preparing for his "big show".

Jack came too. Here he is trying out the infant water bed.

A GREAT time was had by all!!

Up and Down

Will discovered this carousel works a lot like a bike, the top pedals go round and round and as he said, "Up and down, carousel go up and down." Jack saw the whole scene from his usual view, asleep in the sling.

Puppet Show

Mommy and the boys attended their first puppet show at the library, a place where many exciting things happen. They both loved it and after the show was over, Will was more interested in going behind the scenes to see how it all worked than petting any of the puppets.
